We are currently seeking Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analysts (BCaBA) to join our highly skilled ABA team at our Ameriplex and Avon clinics. The Program Manager Assistant for ABA Services is responsible for completion of treatment plan development and implementation, data collection, and behavioral intervention in individual treatment of ABA clients with direct oversight by designated BCBA. Assists the treatment team and other members as designated, in the creation of behavior intervention plans. Responsible for maintaining documentation of all services provided.

Observation time, parent interviews, and the appropriate assessment tools are used to create an individualized treatment plan in order to meet the unique needs of your child with autism. Remarkable ways you will be making a difference:

  • Provides direct therapy when needed
  • Provides client specific training
  • Ensures RBTs are prepared for each therapy session
  • Uses Behavior Skills Training (BST) to train, model, observe, etc
  • Provides training for a minimum of two hours or 5% of hours worked for each assigned RBT
  • Regularly reviews client data and graphs in Central Reach to make swift decisions and ensure client success is being made
  • Ensures that each assigned client has an active (created or revised within three months) behavior intervention plan or has approval from the Program Director to be without a BIP
  • Trains stakeholder in ABA techniques to be used for generalization or maintenance of learned skills
  • Takes pride and ownership in Damar's facilities and assigned work areas
  • Actively participates in and/or oversees data collection and the use of data to improve outcomes, practices, and service delivery
  • Uses data to determine appropriate client discharge criteria and long-term goals
  • Maintains prescribed level of productivity by remaining abreast of each client's authorized billing hours and codes
  • Makes use of Damar ABA training standards when training and developing client programming
  • Maintains due dates for reauthorization reports
  • Meets with assigned Program Coordinator regularly
  • Remains knowledgeable of available evidence-based assessments

What you need to be considered:

  • Bachelor's Degree and BCaBA.
  • Minimum 2 years' previous experience with autism spectrum disorders required with a minimum of 18 months of autism experience in an ABA setting.
  • Ability to pass and maintain Critical Moments Training (CMT) Certification
  • Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification
  • Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
  • Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar's insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
  • Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Favorably meet and maintain Damar's background screening

Essential Job Functions

The essential functions of this position require the physical ability and mobility needed to perform the job. This includes the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.; operate office equipment, including a computer keyboard; travel to other locations using private or commercial transportation; and communicate effectively to exchange information.

The position also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to client behaviors, staff instructions, safety concerns, and emergencies in an environment where individuals may display aggressive, self-injurious, sexually maladaptive, elopement, or other unpredictable behaviors.

Regular and acceptable attendance, excluding approved absences and periods of leave, is also an essential function of the position.
