Non-Invasive Cardiologist — Full-Time

Pay: $437,600 – $514,100 per year (dependent on relevant experience)

Location: Oregon
Schedule: Full-time | 80 hours per pay period | Shift: As Assigned
Clinic Hours/Rotation: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm + shared Echo call rotation (includes weekend reading)

Build a high-impact cardiology practice with a balanced clinic + diagnostics mix

We are partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Oregon to hire a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a full-time opportunity spanning inpatient and outpatient care. This role offers a strong blend of clinical cardiology, advanced diagnostics, and collaboration across specialties—ideal for a physician who enjoys variety, continuity of care, and being a go-to clinical resource.

What you'll do

You'll provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services, including evaluation, management, diagnostic interpretation, and ongoing treatment planning. Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of cardiac disease processes in inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Interpret and/or perform:
    • EKGs
    • Echocardiography and Stress Echocardiography
    • Cardiac Nuclear Imaging
    • Holter/Event monitoring
    • Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
    • Cardioversion (performing and interpreting, as applicable)
  • Review and sign individualized treatment plans for cardiac rehab patients
  • Use appropriate risk calculators and remain current on new studies, emerging technology, and medication updates
  • Integrate diagnostic data into clear assessments and evidence-based treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on medications, treatment options, prevention, and community resources
  • Triage patient calls and provide consultation as needed
  • Document all care in the electronic medical record and complete tasks supporting accurate, timely billing
  • Participate in physician meetings and contribute to clinic policy development and practice improvement

  • Commitment to quality, professionalism, and continuous growth
  • Stays current with CME, maintains board certification requirements (per organizational standards), and keeps all licenses/certifications current and unrestricted
  • Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileges (credentialing/privileging required)
  • Reliable attendance and professionalism in a patient-facing environment
Physical/clinical requirements (role demands)

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
  • Maintain adequate hearing and visual acuity (including color vision)
  • Use fine motor skills and strong eye-hand coordination
  • Use safe body mechanics for patient assistance and transfers
  • Lift up to 75 pounds (as required)
  • Follow standard precautions due to possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids
  • Communicate effectively (reading, writing, speaking in person and by phone)
  • Periodically use a personal computer
