Job Summary
Non-nurse Graduate Program Adjunct Instructor
Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as-needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester/term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the courses taught. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work. Adjunct Instructors may teach no more than 8 semester hours per semester.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Clinical doctorate in respective field.
2. An active, unencumbered professional license to practice within the full scope in the state of Alabama.
3. Academic and experiential qualified to teach in the area assigned.
4. A minimum of at least two years of active clinical practice.

1. Previous teaching experience in a nursing program.
2. Online teaching experience.
