Non Exempt Remote Correctional Rn information

What can an RN do remotely?

A remote correctional RN can perform tasks such as reviewing medical records, providing telehealth consultations, coordinating care, and documenting patient information. They typically use electronic health record systems and require proper licensure and security protocols to ensure confidentiality and compliance.

How to make an extra $2000 a month as a nurse?

Non Exempt Remote Correctional RNs can increase their income by taking on additional shifts, working overtime, or securing per diem assignments. Developing specialized skills or certifications, such as in mental health or telehealth, can also qualify them for higher-paying opportunities or consulting roles outside regular hours.

What is the difference between Non Exempt Remote Correctional Rn vs Non Exempt Correctional Nurse?

AspectNon Exempt Remote Correctional RnNon Exempt Correctional Nurse

CertificationsRN license, possibly telehealth certificationsRN license, correctional health certifications
Employer & IndustryHealthcare providers, correctional health servicesCorrectional facilities, prisons, jails

How to make $150,000 as a nurse?

Non Exempt Remote Correctional RNs can increase their earnings by gaining specialized certifications, such as correctional health or telehealth credentials, and accumulating experience in high-demand areas. Working overtime, taking on additional shifts, or advancing to supervisory roles can also boost income, but reaching $150,000 may require combining these strategies over time or seeking higher-paying positions within the correctional healthcare field.

Is there a shortage of correctional nurses?

Correctional nurses, including non-exempt remote correctional RNs, are in high demand due to staffing shortages in correctional facilities and the need for specialized healthcare in secure environments. This shortage often leads to increased opportunities, competitive pay, and the importance of relevant certifications and experience in correctional health care.
