Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in the Plano, Texas location is $156,998.00 to $197,700 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).

Duties: Define and maintain AWS Load Generation Ecosystem Architecture and Product Deployments in AWS environments. Create and manage infrastructure, network routing and security configurations. Automate deployment of VPCs, Transit Gateways and CIDR blocks using Terraform, Jenkins and Ansible. Manage Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) including patching and Image Source control in Gitlab. Develop software automation scripts using Third Party Toolkits to assess Performance Profile under Load of Siemens SaaS Products. Telecommuting is acceptable from a commutable distance. [Hybrid role]

Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 60 months of experience in the role offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.

  1. Working with AWS architecture, networking and security concepts, configurations and applications.
  2. Development and maintenance of Test Automation Scripting.
  3. Site Reliability Engineering constructs and tools.
  4. Experience with the following O/S, development, CICD and infrastructure tools - Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Linux, Windows, Python, Git/GitHub/Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes, or Vault.
  5. Configure and implement Datadog monitoring solutions to provide comprehensive visibility into cloud infrastructure and applications.
  6. Ensure proactive detection and resolution of performance issues leveraging AWS Cloudwatch.
  7. Conduct regular cost optimization reviews.
  8. Identify opportunities for rightsizing instances and leverage cost-effective pricing models.
