Job description

General Description:

Responsible for performing production work. Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. Work as part of a team to assemble a finished product or component of a finished

product. Inspects product to ensure high quality.


Essential Functions:

• Assembles components and equipment according to drawings, plans, or specifications.

• Review of work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to

specifications.

• Capable of the electrical wiring of assemblies per specifications and drawings.

• Knowledgeable in the reading and interpretation of electrical drawings.

• Electrical assembly of equipment including conduit routing, conduit bending, and pipe threading.

• Visual and non-destructive testing and troubleshooting of products to ensure conformance with standards and specifications.

• Packaging of finished items to prepare for shipment.

• Cross training of all tasks within the Final Assembly Department.

• Completion of quality checklists as required.

• Maintenance and repair of equipment pilot units as needed.

• Travel as needed with Field Service Crew and provide phone assistance to customers to troubleshoot electrical issues in the field.


Education:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.


Experience:

• 1-2 years recent relevant experience.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Electrical background and/ or training.

• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.

• Must have a good working knowledge or use of hand tools.
