This position requires 80% driving & 20% branch operations.

The core responsibilities of this non-CDL Driver/Warehouse position include completing customer cylinder deliveries via Hot Shot Truck, receiving branch inventory, and assisting the manager with cylinder filling duties. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for moving and sorting materials on racks, shelves, or in designated areas by hand, hand-truck, dolly, and/or forklift. They will also account for incoming and outgoing stock, use a computer to maintain and update the status of orders, backorders, fills, and inventory, pack parcels for mailing or third-party shipping, and stock and track inventory,
  • Will package hardgoods orders, including paint, welding equipment and other supplies for safe,
  • timely and protected shipment to other company locations.
  • Will load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
  • Receive hardgoods orders, including paint, welding equipment and other supplies.
  • Log and inventory incoming shipments from UPS, and other freight carriers, and ensure that
  • inventory is stored in proper location, or shipped out, as applicable.
  • Fill and prepare main and branch store orders and customers/will call order by tagging for shipment
  • via intra/inter-company transport.
  • Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  • Cylinder Handling and propane filling/inspection.
  • Handling of Hazardous Materials.

Are you a MATCH?
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) year experience in welding industry and/or warehousing
  • operations, including shipping and receiving preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in using a computer terminal to determine shipping,
  • receiving, backorder and inventory status preferred.
  • Must possess a clean and safe driving record, with no at-fault accidents or serious moving violations
  • within the past three (3) years.

Preferred
  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be customer service oriented and able to interact with the public in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet customer needs and management expectations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be detailed-oriented with good organizational skills.
