Job description

An established nonprofit organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support two day programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Brooklyn, New York. This role provides nursing oversight, staff guidance, and health monitoring in a non-clinical day program setting.
About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day shift
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Setting: Day Program / Non-Clinical / OPWDD
Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing oversight for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Maintain participant health documentation and records
  • Communicate important health information to staff and families
  • Train staff on OSHA requirements, first aid, and medication support
  • Lead health and safety efforts within the programs
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active New York State Registered Nurse license
  • CPR certification
