Job description

Project Manager, Insights & Data Caching

Job Description:

TRG Screen is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Insights & Data Caching team, with a primary focus on delivering Submarine implementations for our growing client base. Submarine is TRG Screen's on-premise Bloomberg data caching and intelligent routing proxy solution, helping financial institutions reduce Bloomberg Data License costs through intelligent caching, request routing, and ETL capabilities.

This is a high-impact role working directly with major financial institutions globally. You will own the end-to-end delivery of Submarine implementations, coordinating across client technical teams, TRG Screen's development and solutions engineering functions, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

If you are a structured, client-focused project manager with an interest in financial market data technology, this is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data infrastructure and cost optimization.

Responsibilities:

Project Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Submarine implementation projects, from initial scoping through to go-live and post-implementation review
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource schedules
  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate
  • Coordinate parallel workstreams including technical discovery, infrastructure setup, testing, and client training
  • Ensure all implementation milestones are met in line with agreed timelines and client expectations
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with client project sponsors, technical leads, and market data teams
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, providing clear and concise updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Manage client expectations proactively, ensuring transparency around timelines, risks, and deliverables
  • Support clients in navigating internal approval processes, including IT security, infrastructure, and compliance reviews
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with TRG Screen's Solutions Engineering, Development, and Managed Services teams to coordinate delivery activities
  • Liaise with the Insights & Data Caching product team to communicate client feedback and implementation learnings
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handover from pre-sales to implementation
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of Submarine implementation methodology and documentation
Reporting & Governance
  • Maintain accurate project status reporting using TRG Screen's project management tools
  • Track and report on key project metrics including delivery timelines, client satisfaction, and issue resolution rates
  • Contribute to internal governance processes, ensuring all implementations adhere to TRG Screen's quality and security standards

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • 4+ years of project management experience, ideally within a SaaS, fintech, or financial services environment
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical implementations on time and within scope
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships at both technical and executive levels
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg Data License, reference data, or market data infrastructure is highly advantageous
  • Experience working with on-premise or hybrid deployment models is a plus
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent)
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is desirable
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Remote role with EST/CST working hours. Candidates should reside in the Northeastern U.S.; preference for candidates located outside of New York City.
