Technology Specialist
RUSH CREEK VISION STATEMENT: We are forerunners of the faith, united, to help people find and follow Jesus.
PURPOSE:
The Technology Specialist is a central role that serves all Rush Creek campuses and venues. This position manages the overall design, installation, and maintenance of AVL and IT technology for all venues at all campuses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• In charge of Sunday production prep and execution for Green Oaks campus, including media team scheduling
• Green Oaks campus priority on Sundays
• Participates in weekly Green Oaks weekend planning meetings
• Leads the design, installation, deployment, and performance of technology (AVL) for all venues.
• Plans and implements changes to existing systems.
• Manages implementation, installation and maintenance of equipment (AVL) in all Rush Creek venues, including portable sound systems and off-site technology.
• Manages implementation, installation and maintenance of computers, wifi and other IT related services at all campuses.
• House Lighting & Electrical maintenance for all worship areas
• Coordinates with Worship Ministers at each campus to make sure AVL is set up and ready for non-church events
• Assists all campuses with technology related issues during the week and on Sunday morning
• Create a pool of volunteers for Sundays as well as weekly AVL needs
• Leads the AVL team for all large church events
• Manages the assignment of AVL needs for non-Church events
• Manages the Technology and IT budgets
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
• A follower of Jesus Christ and have demonstrated faith through full immersion baptism
• At least 3-5 years of experience in AVL, IT, project management.
• At least 3 years of experience managing staff or volunteers.
• Customer service oriented.
• A detail-oriented personality.
