Job Details
We're hiring reliable, experienced, Armed Security Officers! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.
Hourly wage: $25.45/h (weekly pay)
Weekends availability: Sat / Sun
Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:
• Remain alert, avoid distractions, and observe all activity around the post
• Give the alarm and assist in response to a fire or the emergency
• Patrol a designated area on foot or in a vehicle
• Enforce company and client policies
• Observe, report, and document violations of policy by notifying the Shift Lieutenant or Control Dispatch
• Respond to incidents
• Protect everyone and everything within the limits and duties of the post
• One will only use reasonable force, up to and including lethal force, when necessary to protect life
• Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence
• Officers will remain on the post and wait until they have a face-to-face relief
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.
Qualifications:
Must have min 5 years of verified armed security experience (Law Enforcement/Military Police or Dept. of Corrections background Strongly Preferred)
Must have your own 9mm Weapon
Armed Security License for NYS
• Must have excellent written and communication skills
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must at least 21 years of age?

Armed Security Officers must pass the following requirements and comply with Prosegur, client, and State Law Rules and Regulations:
New York State Unrestricted License to Carry Pistol
• Law Enforcement and/or Military background
• Armed Security Officer Training Requalification (with the exception of "Exempt" Armed Officers not required to take the course due to status according to NYS Division of Criminal Justice and NYS Department of Licensing):
• 8 Hour NRA Basic Pistol Safety Course (non-firing) as required by Westchester County, New York
• 47-Hour Firearms Train
