Job description

Your role is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience, all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
Answer guest questions about the menu, drinks, and the club.
Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure guest safety and well-being.
Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic mocktails.
A strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, including ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes.
Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations, including responsible alcohol service policies (e.g., TABC).
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of all drinks, following established recipes and standards.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
Stock and replenish bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment for staff and guests.
Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
Any other duties, as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills that foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a bartender in a resort setting, preferred.
Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wines and spirits.
A commitment to providing exceptional service that makes a difference to our Membership.
TABC required.

Working Conditions:
You will be working in variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold).
You may encounter pool chemicals.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
You may experience variable noise levels.

Physical Requirements:
Standing, stooping, bending and twisting for extended periods.
