JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: NA Sales Representative

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Summary

The NA Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales and merchandising objectives for assigned accounts in alignment with company goals and strategies. This role focuses on maximizing product distribution, executing promotions, servicing accounts, and maintaining positive customer relationships across the assigned route. The NA Sales Representative represents the companyโ€™s portfolio of Anheuser-Busch and other supplier products and contributes to brand presence and market share growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Account Development
  • Achieve assigned routeโ€™s sales and marketing objectives set by Team Leader and Sales Manager.
  • Sell in and execute all authorized promotions and product placements.
  • Proactively sell sufficient inventory to accounts to avoid out-of-stock and weekend deliveries.
  • Solicit placement of permanent and temporary point-of-sale (POS) materials for Anheuser-Busch and other suppliers.
  • Continuously identify and pursue opportunities to grow product distribution, visibility, and sales volume.
  1. New Business Development
  • Identify and solicit lost, inactive, and potential new accounts in the territory.
  • Report on all new account opportunities to the Team Leader or Sales Manager.
  • Complete required documentation for ownership changes and new customer setup.
  1. Merchandising
  • Maintain top-tier merchandising standards using company-supplied POS and display materials.
  • Monitor all product movement within each account and shift underperforming SKUs to higher-volume outlets where appropriate.
  • Assist in building, maintaining, and merchandising all primary and secondary displays to secure top product positioning.
  1. Customer Servicing
  • Ensure all product labels are front-facing and organized upon sale.
  • Monitor backroom inventory and support customers with replenishment needs.
  • Fulfill all account commitments on time and address customer service needs promptly.
  • Assist with weekend "on-call" deliveries, holiday pull-ups, and special events as requested.
  • Assign and coordinate pull-up responsibilities for major holidays.
  1. Administrative and Operational Duties
  • Attend all scheduled company meetings.
  • Provide sales forecasts for promotional products as requested.
  • Submit accurate, timely orders, reports, and forms as required.
  • Maintain daily cleanliness of assigned company vehicle and ensure safety compliance.
  • Report all vehicle incidents or damage promptly using appropriate forms.
  • Complete monthly IMPACT documentation and weekly display tracking reports for incentive payout eligibility.
  • Adhere to all Mitchell Companies policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accountability.
  • Basic proficiency in mobile and/or tablet-based reporting tools (e.g., KARMA, Mobility).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and standing required during store visits.
  • Ability to enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times per day.
  • Exposure to various retail and warehouse environments, including refrigerated areas.

Work Environment

  • Field-based role with daily travel to customer locations within assigned territory.
  • Schedule includes Mondayโ€“Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events or pull-ups.
