Are you proactive, organized, and passionate about customer service? Join our team as a Customer Experience Program Assistant with the Parks and Recreation Department!
In this part-time role, you'll be a vital part of the Customer Experience team-supporting City Hall operations and assisting with cashiering, onboarding, and various other team functions. You'll also serve as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact at the front desk, providing exceptional service to our visitors.
At Redmond Parks and Recreation, our vision is to serve and connect our community through innovative, inclusive, and sustainable experiences. As the Customer Experience Program Assistant, you'll help bring this vision to life by supporting City Hall operations and programs. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in customer service or administrative roles who is passionate about community service and public engagement.
Hours: This is a supplemental, variable, year-round position, and will work approximately 20 hours per week. Hours may vary based on business need and will most likely be between 7:30am-5:15pm.
The position is limited to a maximum of 29 hours per week and no more than 1,040 hours per year.
Locations: Redmond City Hall
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide excellent customer experience in person, on the phone, and through email for multiple lines of City business.
  • Interact daily with the public and City staff.
  • Provide administrative support to Customer Experience programs-cashiering, supplemental onboarding, QAlert
  • Assist with various customer service issues, such as general questions, cashiering, enrollment assistance, etc.
  • Partner with and assist program coordinators to ensure success of the program.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement to Customer Experience programs.
  • Monitor, track, and maintain metrics and analytics relevant to programs.
  • Utilize and maintain computer programs and systems to input, track and communicate program data/details as well as prepare documents and run reports as requested
  • Provide technical assistance to others regarding reporting updates/changes
  • Assist with special programs and events as needed
  • Order supplies and track inventories as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
  • Two years' experience in program or administrative and office support
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certifications (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
