The main difference between a No Experience Roustabout and an Entry-Level Roughneck is that the Roustabout typically requires no prior experience or certifications, making it suitable for newcomers. An Entry-Level Roughneck may require basic safety training or a high school diploma but also serves as an entry point into the oilfield industry. Both roles involve physically demanding work on oil rigs and are common starting positions in the industry.
As a roustabout, your job includes tasks like cleaning drilling equipment, transporting materials, repairing equipment, and making visual inspections of oil rig equipment. Roustabouts may work on land or on an offshore oil rig. You may help drill into an oilfield, install pipes to help transport gas, or perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed. Roustabouts frequently perform demanding physical labor for extended periods with shifts up to twelve hours long. You may also provide emergency services during spills. Roustabouts often live on-site for days or weeks at a time, so the ability to work away from home is essential to your success.

This position will be posted for a minimum of three days or we will continue to accept applications until a qualified candidate has been selected.
Hourly/Salary Pay Range: $15.00-$20.00 hourly -dependent on experience*
*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay : Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
