Department: Med/Surg 2 (46 bed unit)
Experience: RN experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred

Med/Surg 2 is a fast-paced, traditional Med/Surg unit caring for a diverse patient population, including colorectal, bariatric, oncology, pulmonary, general surgery, orthopedic, hospice, and other medical diagnoses. This variety provides nurses with the opportunity to strengthen their clinical skills while caring for patients with a wide range of needs.

Our team thrives on teamwork, collaboration, and peer support. Our leadership team is hands-on and readily available as a resource, often jumping in alongside the team when extra support is needed. What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, peferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred. 
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

  • Establish authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system
  • Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. 
  • Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey
