Position Overview

The position is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks to maintain a pristine and welcoming community environment for our residents.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Clean resident apartments, restrooms, and community common areas following established schedule.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors.
  • Empty trash containers on a regularly scheduled basis and as needed.
  • Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
  • Maintain equipment and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Follow chemical safety protocol and infection control procedures.
  • Ensure a safe living environment for residents, while respecting residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal belongings at all times.
  • Report concerns or observation about resident unusual behavior to supervisor.
  • Report needed supplies and/or equipment repairs to supervisor.
  • Assist with apartment-flips or specialized cleaning tasks, as assigned.
  • Respond to requests from residents and staff promptly and efficiently.
  • Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
