We at Tancell Care serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Southern & Northern Nevada by delivering excellence in service and individualized care while enhancing their overall quality of life.
Join our team of exceptional professionals who are dedicated in enriching the lives of the persons we serve. We are presently looking for a Part Time - Behavioral Support Professional (BSP) who will lead all behavioral programming on a case-by-case basis, providing support and direction to front-line staff who implement these behavioral programs. BSP will provide behavioral consultation, training, and intervention to participants in their home, school, workplace or in the community. BSP will provide initial and ongoing assessments of client's behavior, needs, and functional abilities, and provide training to direct support staff and families in implementing these interventions. Specifically, you will...
  • Develop behavioral support plan in coordination with Direct Support Professionals.
  • Provide functional behavioral assessment and an assessment of the environmental factors that are precipitating a problem behavior.
  • Work with Direct Support Professionals on implementation of positive behavioral support strategies and/or behavioral support plan.
  • Consult and train on data collection strategies to monitor progress.
  • Monitor participants and the Direct Support Professionals in the implementation and modification of the behavioral support plan.
  • Maintain records of participant's ongoing progress.

Requirements
How do you qualify?
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Human/Social Services, ABA - Required.
  • At least one year of professional clinical experience using behavior intervention and functional assessment procedures and developing, implementing, monitoring of behavior support plans in applied settings required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with people with I/DD OR in a teaching/mentoring role within human services or education.
  • First Aid/CPR and AED - Preferred.
