Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

Location: Petoskey, MI

Shift: 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Pay Rate: $51/hr

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical unit in Petoskey, Michigan. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment caring for a diverse patient population including general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and stroke patients.

Unit Details

  • 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit

  • Stroke-certified unit

  • Collaborative interdisciplinary team environment

  • Strong emphasis on patient-centered, evidence-based care

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent, dedicated Medical Surgical RN experience

  • Experience must be in straight Med Surg (no Telemetry, Stepdown, or float-only experience)

  • Level I or Level II Trauma experience required

  • Active Michigan RN license

  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Schedule & Details

  • 36 hours per week

  • Every other weekend required

  • No on-call
