Lotus Notes is a collaborative client-server software platform used by organizations for email, calendars, and custom business applications. Entry-level developers usually learn to design, code, and maintain applications within the Lotus Notes environment under supervision. They often work with senior developers to understand the platform's architecture, scripting languages such as LotusScript, and best practices for database and workflow development.
