Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac IR unit requiring 2+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Details
  • Interventional Radiology department in a Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
  • 5x8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Weekend rotation with one weekend shift (Friday-Sunday) every 4-week schedule, totaling 6-8 days per 4-week period
  • Some on-call requirements
  • 13-week assignment length
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required, 3+ years preferred
  • Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Active state RN license or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines required, license required if applicable
  • No pending licensure accepted
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • BSN not required for this position; ADN accepted
  • Driver's license copy required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
  • All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration; RTO submitted after an offer will not be honored
  • If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays
  • If only 2 of these holidays fall during the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1 of the 2
  • Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Former travelers who completed a full year assignment must wait 1 full year before returning
  • Vaccination status must be included at time of consideration
