About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43085!

Position: Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR) - AUTO OFFER

We are currently seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment starting April 20, 2026. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong procedural and vascular access experience working in an IR setting.

Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 4x10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

  • Monday – Friday schedule

  • Weekend coverage as needed (every other or every third)

  • On-call: 2 call shifts during the contract

Patient Population:

  • Adult and geriatric patients

Patient Ratios:

  • 1:1 during procedures

Clinical Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Circulating during interventional radiology procedures

  • Monitoring patients and managing cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias

  • Triage and patient assessment pre- and post-procedure

  • Assisting with vascular access and procedural preparation

Common Procedures Performed:

  • Vascular access procedures

  • IVC filter placement and removal

  • Embolization procedures

  • TIPS procedures

  • Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)

  • Fistulograms

  • Percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN)

  • Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC)

  • Drain placements and management

  • Venous reconstruction

  • Biopsies, paracentesis, and thoracentesis

Unit Details:

  • Interventional diagnostic and treatment unit

  • 8 procedure rooms

  • Approx. 30 patient cases daily

  • Multidisciplinary team including physicians, technologists, nurses, and advanced practice providers
