We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team as an Independent Contractor. In this role, you will bridge the gap between clinical excellence and personalized care, providing life-enhancing infusion therapies to patients in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

As a primary point of care, you will manage the end-to-end infusion experience, ensuring safety and clinical integrity at every step:

Expert Clinical Delivery: Perform comprehensive pre-infusion assessments, establish peripheral IV access, and manage central venous access devices (Ports/PICCs) with precision.

Patient-Centered Care: Administer specialty medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and provide immediate intervention or EMS activation if required.

Education & Empowerment: Guide patients and caregivers through their therapy journey, teaching medication storage, side-effect management, and home safety protocols.

Seamless Coordination: Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical leadership to confirm orders and supplies, while maintaining timely, accurate documentation via mobile platforms.

Independent Practice: Manage your travel within the DC/MD/VA service area, maintaining the highest standards of infection control and aseptic technique in diverse home environments.

Qualifications

Licensure: Active RN license in DC, MD, and VA (Compact/Multi-state license highly preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience with a heavy focus on IV therapy and infusion administration.

Technical Proficiency: Mastery of peripheral IV starts and central line maintenance is essential.

Certifications: Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Compliance: Must meet independent contractor requirements, including background checks, drug screening, immunization/TB verification, and professional insurance coverage.
