The full salary range for this position is $83,900 to $106,800 per year. We expect to hire in at a salary range between $83,900-$95,000.

Job Summary

The ERP Business Analyst II at Human Kinetics (HK) has a direct impact on the operational success of the business. Operating from the IT Department, the ERP Business Analyst II supports, maintains, and advances HK business processes by defining and suggesting improvement of systems involved in end-to-end business processes—from product development and procurement through fulfillment, invoicing, and financial reporting. The ERP Business Analyst II works across several technologies and disciplines, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, EDI, E-Commerce, SQL databases, SharePoint, and CRM.

This role blends business process expertise, technical system understanding, and cross-functional communication. The analyst translates business requirements into ERP configurations, reporting solutions, and integrations while ensuring data integrity, scalability, and alignment with organizational goals.

Essential Functions

1. Design and configure solutions within HK’s ERP framework to support business process improvement.
2. Provide daily support for internal ERP users, documenting resolutions within our helpdesk system.
3. Analyze root cause of issues and design corrective and preventive actions.
4. Provide ERP support for all facets of the business. Serve as primary interface for projects and requests involving the ERP vendor.
5. Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trend analysis to develop appropriate process changes.
6. Work with DBAs to support data syncing, data warehouse population and data feeds from the ERP to external applications.
7. Function independently based upon a solid understanding of specific business processes and functionality of the HK ERP.
8. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in business processes, methods, tools, and resources.
9. Properly document changes and additions as well as document/maintain existing processes, code, work instructions and other key functions.
10. Assist and advise business users and IT team adhering to HK’s Code of Cooperation. Provide a professional “Customer Service” attitude that has a high focus on sense of urgency.
11. Analyze usability and manageability of business processes.
12. Provide systems/staff support on business intelligence/data analysis reporting in Power BI reports.
13. Communicate professionally at all levels of the organization regarding technical issues and solutions.
14. Mentor, train and support ERP Business Analyst I position.
15. Work with IT leadership in planning and implementation of projects.?

Secondary Functions

1. Maintain HK’s compliance with EDI standards, especially related to purchase orders (850 specification), purchase order acknowledgements (855 specification), invoices (810 specification), and advanced shipping notices (856 specification).
2. Serve as a secondary backup to the Applications Analyst and DBA teams as needed.

Required Education

4-year degree in Information Technology, or equivalent training and experience

Six Sigma training or Kepner-Tregoe problem-solving and decision-making training or something similar

Preferred Education

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification (MB800) strongly preferred or expected within the first year. Power BI and Power Platform certifications are considered a plus and supported as part of professional development.

Required Experience

4 years of ERP support and maintenance

4 years of business and data analytics

4 years of analyzing and documenting business processes

Ability to write SQL queries, or basic data querying logic

High level of proficiency with MS Office and Power BI reporting

2 years of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) experience

2 years of experience with Microsoft Business Central

Understanding of change management and process mapping

Preferred Experience

4 years of experience with Microsoft Business Central

4 years of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) experience
