Job description

About Us

For over 40 years, LD Signs (Design Ventures) has produced custom industrial signage for petrochemical companies and the service providers that support them. We are known for quality, precision, and fast turnaround. Our clients trust us to get it right, which is why they keep coming back.
The Role

We are looking for a Production Helper to join our shop-floor team in Baytown, TX. This is an entry-level position, and no experience is required. We will teach you the trade and pay you while you learn.
Entry-level does not mean low expectations. The people who thrive here take ownership of their work, communicate clearly, follow through, and step in when something needs attention. That standard applies to everyone, regardless of role. We will teach you the work and expect you to take it seriously from day one.
If you want to learn a trade, build practical skills, and work with people who care about what goes out the door, this may be a good fit for you.
What You Will Do

Handle and prepare materials for printing, cutting, routing, and engraving.
Weed and mask vinyl.
Assist our printer, router, and engraver operators.
Pack, crate, and prepare finished signs for shipping, delivery, and pickup.
Help keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
Learn our equipment and production processes as you go.
What You Bring

No experience required. We will train you.
Dependability. You show up, follow through, and do what you said you would do.
Genuine curiosity about how things are made and how they work.
Attention to detail. Close enough is not good enough.
Comfort with physical work. You will be on your feet and moving materials in an active production shop.
A willingness to learn, accept correction, and offer honest feedback in return.
Why Join Us

Learn a trade from the inside, from raw materials to finished products.
Join a stable, established company that has been doing this for over 40 years and is investing in its future.
Work with a small team where your contribution directly impacts what goes out the door.
Opportunities for advancement.
How to Apply

Apply through Indeed. We will reach out to invite you to visit our facility, fill out an application, meet some of the team, and see firsthand what we do and how we do it. Bring your questions and your curiosity. We will take it from there.
