Position Overview
Successful State Farm Agent is seeking a motivated, outgoing professional to join their winning team for the role of Telemarketer - State Farm Agent Team Member. This role is built around outbound calling - reaching out to prospective customers by phone to start conversations, ask questions, and set the stage for a policy review. We don't require prior sales experience: if you're hungry, hardworking, and want to earn real income while you learn a valuable career skill, we want to talk to you. Part-time hours available, great for someone building experience alongside school, a second job, or other commitments.
Responsibilities
  • Make outbound calls (cold calls and warm leads) to prospective customers to introduce our products and generate interest.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Requirements
  • Comfortable making outbound/cold calls and talking with new people every day
  • No prior sales experience necessary - just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
  • People-oriented
  • Able to learn computer functions
  • Pride in getting work done accurately and timely
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Bilingual - Korean, Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese preferred
