Job description

Your community blood bank, BLOOD ASSURANCE, has a job opening for a Territory Account Representative to develop and service group accounts in a variety of counties including Floyd, Hamilton, and Gordon County.

Territory Account Representative responsibilities:

  • Calling on current and potential accounts who will help plan and support blood drives.
  • Booking blood drives to meet monthly collection goals.
  • Develop positive relationships in the community to support and set up blood drives.
  • Travel 3-4 days per week within territory with minimal overnight travel.

Qualified Territory Account Representative candidates will have:

  • Outside sales experience with a bachelor’s degree or prior related work experience,
  • Customer service, retail, or event planning experience preferred,
  • A high degree of creativity and positive energy.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence,
  • Polished, professional and compassionate communication skills with ability to educate, influence, negotiate and secure business agreements,
  • Self confidence in making group presentations to the public, business and community leaders,
  • Flexibility and adaptability to be effective in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where conditions and circumstances can rapidly change,
  • Data management and computer skills with advanced organizational skills to manage multiple tasks quickly and simultaneously,
  • The ability to work independently as a self-starter.
