Opportunity:

Kem Krest is seeking a Material Handler Operator who will be responsible for following procedures and provide input to accurately transport and manage materials using various tools and equipment. Solve problems and help improve material flow. Demonstrate competence in following safety and maintenance procedures. Identify risks and gaps impacting performance and provide input regarding the technology used to capture data. Verify components and record work order information. Willingness to cross-train and assist other departments based on business needs.

  1. Pay: $17.25 - $18.00
  2. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
  3. Full-time, 40 hours per week
  4. Overtime Availability

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform job duties with competence and consistency across assigned tasks.
  2. Operate designated material handling equipment (MHE) safely and effectively.
  3. Understand machine operations and ensure proper use to avoid performance issues.
  4. Identify risks or performance gaps and escalate when necessary.
  5. Provide input to improve processes, technology, and team performance.
  6. Understand and contribute to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  7. Recognize how individual performance impacts utilization and schedule completion.
  8. Support data collection efforts and provide input for relevant technology tools.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to hazard prevention and waste reduction.
  10. Demonstrate awareness of environmental impact and support risk reduction efforts.

Your Contributions:

  1. 1–2 years of experience in a production or operations environment.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent with on-the-job training.
  3. Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production environment.
  4. Strong understanding of equipment operations and safety procedures.
  5. Ability to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to team success.
  6. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  7. Stand-up reach truck & Forklift experience required.
