Description
The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch. The court systememploys nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks.

The Office of Information & Technology Services, Division of Research and Statistics has an opening for aResearch and Statistics Data Analyst in Franklin County. The Data Analyst creates statistical reports and datacompilations using Tableau, SQL, and other software as needed. This includes single reports created forexternal requestors as well as internal content for other KCOJ employees, including interactive dashboards.They work with the Research & Statistics Teams to ensure that all reporting is accurate, useful, and complieswith standard formats and procedures.
Examples of duties or responsibilities:
  • Perform data compilations and queries, present data effectively in tables and visualizations, and write clearand informative documentation of reports and compilations.
  • Collaborate with the unit's staff to document, review, and enhance tools, definitions, and procedures tocontinuously improve the AOC's statistical reporting process.
  • Assist with request tracking, updates, and completion using the reporting tool of choice.
  • Collaborate with team members to document and maintain all standard operating procedures.
  • Comply established with data standards, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Work closely with members of other departments to facilitate development/completion of statistical requests.
  • Ensure skills are maintained through training opportunities as available/assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: 4 Year College Degree. Major in statistics, public administration, business, social science, or related field.Experience: Government or public-sector experience. Data analysis, statistics, and/or research experience.

Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts andto master new software or programming environments quickly.Ability to present complex ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly manner.Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional, facilitation, and presentationskills appropriate for communication with elected officials.Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on coaching/motivational skills, enthusiasm, and positiveattitude.Advanced time management skills.
Working Conditions
