Is 25 too late for cyber security?

No, 25 is not too late to start a career in cybersecurity. Many professionals enter the field through bootcamps or self-study at various ages, and skills such as problem-solving and technical knowledge can be developed at any age. Entry-level roles often value practical skills and certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Certified Ethical Hacker over age.

Can you get a job with a cyber security bootcamp?

A cybersecurity bootcamp can prepare individuals for entry-level cybersecurity roles by teaching skills such as network security, threat detection, and using tools like firewalls and intrusion detection systems. While a bootcamp provides foundational knowledge, employers often value certifications like CompTIA Security+ and relevant hands-on experience for hiring decisions.

Can I make $200 a year in cyber security?

A cybersecurity bootcamp prepares individuals for entry-level roles such as security analyst or technician, which typically start with salaries well above $200 annually. Entry-level cybersecurity positions often pay several thousand dollars per year, depending on location, experience, and certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CISSP. Earning only $200 a year would not be feasible in this field, as even minimal roles generally offer higher compensation.
