CAD Drafter
What you'll bring:
- AAS in CAD Drafting or a similar field
- 1-3 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the telecommunications field
What you'll do:
Primary Objective of Position: To produce quality, accurate working documents, maps, staking sheets, common drafting practices and other documents in a timely manner that exceed client expectations.
Essential Functions
I. Drafting
a. Transform initial rough drawings, staking sheets, information, specifications, etc. into working documents as directed by client or engineer
b. Assure drawings adhere to applicable specifications, standards, and/or client instructions
c. Update maps and staking sheets as needed
d. Maintain neat and accurate files both electronic and physical
e. Produce plots and photocopies of final drawings
f. Hand draft as needed
g. Ability to operate Auto CAD, Auto CAD Map, Cadtel, Visio and Elation Systems
h. Maintain drafting equipment and supplies
II. Client Relations
a. Work directly with client as directed to assure a clear understanding of expectations
b. Assure professional demeanor at all times when interacting with clients, peers, and supervisors
c. Assist with creating other documents, books, surveys, etc. as directed
Location: In-person, Perham building
Pay: $18-21/hr, DOE
