Job description

The Autism Center of Nebraska, Inc. (ACN) is actively seeking highly motivated and compassionate professionals to join our team. We are currently hiring Job Coach to work in our Connections Department.
Our Job Coaches at ACN work with individuals, some who experience autism and other developmental disabilities. Job Coaches work with our individuals to find the job that best fits them. As a Job Coach you must have the ability to communicate and build relationships with employers and clients, have reliable transportation and the ability to move from work site to work site, in being a Job Coach having a flexible schedule is important.
Responsibilities:
  • Attend orientation and training with clients at the job site.
  • Support the client on the job
  • Working with employers and co-workers to develop natural support on the job
  • Making sure the job is being done to the employers expectations
  • Provide social skill instruction and practice
  • Assisting with problem solving skills
  • Evaluation and monitoring the clients job performance
