Full-time

Job description

About the Role

Mulch & Stone Landscape Supply is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. No CDL is required for this position — just a valid driver's license, a strong work ethic, and a customer-first attitude. You'll deliver mulch, topsoil, stone, and other bulk landscape materials directly to homeowners and contractors across Maryland and Virginia.
This is a great fit for drivers coming from box truck, dump truck, moving, warehouse, or general labor backgrounds who want steady, local route work — no overnight trips, no long-haul driving.
What You'll Do

  • Operate a straight truck (non-CDL) to deliver bulk landscape materials to residential and commercial job sites
  • Safely load, secure, and unload materials using truck-mounted equipment
  • Navigate daily delivery routes efficiently using GPS and route sheets
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Provide friendly, professional service to customers at each stop
  • Communicate delivery updates and any site access issues to dispatch
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe truck at all times
What We're Looking For

  • Valid driver's license (Class C / non-commercial) — CDL not required
  • Clean driving record
  • Comfortable operating a straight truck or box truck (training provided)
  • Ability to lift and handle physical work in an outdoor environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
  • Prior experience in delivery driving, landscaping, construction, or warehouse work is a plus, but not required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule & Details

  • Seasonal position, March through December
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday (Saturday availability during peak season)
  • Local routes only — home every night
  • Competitive pay based on experience
We Welcome Military Veterans

We proudly welcome veterans and value the discipline, reliability, and hands-on skills gained through military service. Your experience translates well to this role, and we're happy to work with your training background.
About Mulch & Stone Landscape Supply

We're a family-owned bulk landscape materials company delivering mulch, topsoil, gravel, stone, sand, compost, and firewood across Anne Arundel, Prince George's, Howard, and Montgomery counties in Maryland, and Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Arlington counties in Virginia. We take pride in dependable, friendly service — and that starts with our drivers.
