These positions typically involve driving vehicles that are under a certain weight limit, such as small delivery vans, box trucks, or passenger vehicles, rather than large trucks or buses. This allows individuals without specialized driving credentials to apply and be eligible for the job. Employers may still require a valid standard driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Most employers provide clear route schedules and GPS navigation tools, and the work may require loading and unloading goods. Collaboration with dispatchers and warehouse staff is common to ensure timely deliveries and address any customer needs along the way.
