Internal Medicine Hospitalist

Our client in Central Kentucky is currently looking for locum tenens Internal Medicine Hospitalists to join their team.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • ACLS certification required
  • Minimum of 5-7 shifts per month
  • Must be able to commit to at least a rotation listed below for at least 6 months
  • Few work affiliations
  • No background issues
  • Current KY license and DEA

Practice Details:

  • Shift Times: Block schedule with in-house nights (MLP on staff)
    • Doc 1: 7a-7p
    • Doc 2: 7a-7p
    • Doc 3: 11a-7p
    • Night: 7p-7a
  • Responsible for admits โ€“ 12 (days) and 3-6 (nights)
  • No running of codes
  • 18-22 encounters per day per shift
  • No in-house nights
  • With ICU involvement
  • Procedures required
