Position Summary

The Site Lead will support Navarro's environmental services work for the NASA Glenn ResearchCenterenvironmental contract in Cleveland, Ohio. This position provides day-to-day leadership for assigned environmental work packages, personnel, compliance activities, and client coordination in a federal government facility environment.

The Site Lead will apply Ohio, Cuyahoga County, and Erie County environmental regulatory knowledge to support environmental compliance, program management, procurement, cost estimating, work planning, and coordination with federal, state, county, sewer authority, and emergency-management stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned environmental work packages and personnel supporting federal government environmental work in Ohio for the NASA Glenn Research Center environmental contract.
  • Coordinate directly with NASA stakeholders, the Contracting Officer's Representative, Ohio EPA, local sewer authorities, county agencies, and emergency-management organizations to support environmental compliance and contract performance.
  • Manage Environmental Program Management activities, including indirect services procurement, subcontract management,purchasingmaterials, estimating costs, work planning, and monitoring work outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one compliance media area, such as water, POL/tanks, waste, or NASA Glenn ResearchCenterprocedural requirements.
  • Support compliance with Ohio EPA regulatory programs under OAC 3745, NEORSD/MS4 and wastewater compliance requirements in the Cleveland area, Erie County and Ohio EPA permitting, and environmental compliance activities associated with the Armstrong Test Facility.
  • Provide professional-level leadership involving planning, self-direction, decision-making, data gathering, analysis, interpretation, interaction with broad stakeholder groups, and accountability for work outcomes.
  • Supportteleworkor hybrid work arrangements only when approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative.
