Permanent โ€“ Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Level III NICU | Ypsilanti, Michigan

Varied Inpatient Shifts | No Call | Physician-Led Team

Position Overview

365 Healthcare is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a collaborative Level III NICU in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This permanent opportunity offers a structured inpatient model within a respected neonatal program in Southeast Michigan.

Experienced providers and board-eligible new graduates are welcome to apply.

Schedule Model
  • Varied inpatient shift structure
  • Mix of 24-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour shifts
  • Weekends included in rotation
  • No call requirement
  • Full-time or part-time flexibility available

This is a team-based inpatient practice model โ€” not autonomous coverage.

Practice Environment
  • Level III NICU
  • Inpatient neonatal care only
  • Physician-led Neonatology team
  • Multidisciplinary rounding model
  • Strong respiratory therapy and ancillary support
  • Epic EMR

This NICU manages premature and critically ill neonates requiring advanced respiratory support, monitoring, and coordinated specialty care.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments
  • Participate in daily rounds and ongoing NICU management
  • Stabilize and manage premature and high-risk newborns
  • Collaborate closely with Neonatologists
  • Provide family education and counseling
  • Document encounters accurately in Epic
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (by start date)
  • Graduate of an accredited NNP program
  • Active Michigan license (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS and NRP certification
  • Ability to work varied 24-, 10-, and 8-hour shifts
  • Clean malpractice and license history
  • NPDB Self-Query required at time of submission
