Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Anaheim, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures, working with radiopharmaceuticals, and providing high-quality patient care.
This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and no on-call responsibilities.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00–7:00 AM to 3:00–4:00 PM
- No weekends
- No on-call
- Optional overtime available
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders.
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
- Perform SPECT and other nuclear imaging procedures following established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
- Provide excellent patient care, including patient preparation, education, and comfort.
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow all regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 3–5 years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- ARRT(N), CNMT, or equivalent certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiopharmaceutical handling
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Ability to work independently in a clinical imaging environment
Preferred:
- Cardiac nuclear medicine experience
- PET/CT experience
- SPECT imaging experience
- Mobile imaging experience
