Job description

Kubernetes Engineer

Location: Plano, TX (ONSITE) FULL TIME ONLY

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on platform experience of Kubernetes engineering and development.
  • 5+ years of experience in working with hybrid infra architectures
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands on experience with IaaC such as Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform, Ansible, CICD using Jenkins/Github Actions.
  • Understanding of the entire infrastructure lifecycle – Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders/teams (architecture and infrastructure delivery teams) to ensure consistent solution design and integration.
  • Hands on experience with GitHub Actions, Artifactory/jfrog, python scripting, EKS
  • Required Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Nutanix environment
  • Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements.
  • Certification - AWS Certified Solution Architect.
  • Experience with Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP)
