Balancing administrative duties, such as electronic health record documentation, with patient care can be demanding. Many practices utilize physician extenders (like nurse practitioners and physician assistants) and robust support staff to streamline workflow. Adapting to advancements in minimally invasive technologies and maintaining up-to-date certifications are also ongoing challenges, but most practices offer continuing education and mentorship opportunities to support professional growth.
