Overview

The Concessions Bartender is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to guests during the LIV Golf New Jersey tournament. This seasonal, event-based position operates in a high-volume outdoor environment and plays an important role in creating a positive guest experience while ensuring compliance with all alcohol service laws, company policies, and event standards.

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.92 and is tip eligible.

This is a seasonal role from August 3, 2026, and will end on August 9, 2026

This position will remain open until August 9, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and event guidelines.
  • Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, accurately process cash and credit card transactions, and balance cash drawers as required.
  • Set up, maintain, and break down concession bar locations before, during, and after the tournament.
  • Keep bar stations clean, organized, fully stocked, and ready for service throughout each shift.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and address service concerns professionally and responsibly.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures, including outdoor heat safety protocols.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Work collaboratively with concessions, culinary, and event operations teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Comply with all company policies, uniform standards, and tournament service expectations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Must meet the minimum legal age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Previous bartending, concessions, hospitality, or special event experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and standard cocktail preparation.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor event environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and multi-day tournament schedules.
  • Alcohol service certification required or the ability to obtain certification before the event, as required by state law.
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
