Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire) to operate, maintain, and repair ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration systems in a food-production environment. This role supports efficient freezing, storage, and plant cooling operations while ensuring safety, quality, and uptime.
Location Hilliard, OH
  • Pay: $35.00/hr
  • Shift: 2nd 6 PM to 4 AM, Monday-Thursday

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate & maintain ammonia/nitrogen refrigeration systems, blast freezers, condensers, and chilled water systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & mechanical/electrical repairs
  • Monitor gauges, logs & system data for performance
  • Follow GMP, safety procedures & maintain clean work areas
  • Read manuals/blueprints; order parts; support other maintenance techs as needed

  • 1-3 years of hands-on industrial ammonia refrigeration experience
  • Experience with vacuum systems, screw compressors, storage/freezer systems
  • Nitrogen flash freezer experience preferred
  • Electrical, pipe fitting, pneumatics & hydraulics experience helpful

Associate Requirements
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Able to Lift 50 pounds
  • Drug Test
  • Must be at least 18 years old
