Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel Assignment
Location: High Point, NC 27262
Duration: 9 Weeks
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 9-week travel assignment in High Point, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a skilled nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, and other clinical procedures as required
  • Accurately document patient conditions, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and overall health management
  • Maintain compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and healthcare regulations
  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and concerns

Qualifications
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina or Compact State License (required)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-focused environment
