As our Nike Store Athlete (Store Associate) your mission will be to deliver a premium consumer experience by demonstrating the expertise to navigate through individual customer needs and providing a complete solution through Nike products and services to give consumers what they need to connect, train, and compete with the knowledge to achieve their goals.

What you will do:

  • Reports to Store Manager ensuring work duties are accurately performed
  • Monitors the flow of all shipments and ensures prompt follow up with discrepancies
  • Ensure all stock areas are neat, clean and orderly per company standard
  • Perform box counts and validate against bills of lading, ensuring discrepancies, shortages or damages are reported immediately
  • Assist selling floor with product placement and stock replenishment
  • Ensure cash wraps are fully stocked with operational supplies

What we would love to see:

  • Must have or be pursuing a High School diploma or GED
  • Able to perform basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience preferred.

Availability

Minimum weekly availability requirements:

  • Minimum 20 hours weekly inclusive of the following:
    • Must be available during peak hours (peak hours may differ depending on each store location)
    • Weekend availability
      • 1 closing weekend shift
    • Must be available for 1 closing shift during the week (Monday-Thursday)
  • Must be available for majority of Black out periods which include, but not limited to:
    • March Break
    • Canada Day weekend
    • Back to School (Starting from the 2 weeks leading up to, and 1 week after Labour Day)
    • Black Friday (Starting from the Saturday before Black Friday until the Monday after)
    • Winter Holiday season (December 15 January 2)

  • Rapporter au gestionnaire de magasin en veillant ce que les tches soient accomplies de manire prcise et efficace
  • Superviser larrive des livraisons et assurer un suivi rapide en cas de divergences
  • Veiller ce que toutes les zones de stockage soient propres, organises et conformes aux normes de lentreprise
  • Effectuer des comptages de botes et les valider par rapport aux bons de livraison, en signalant immdiatement les divergences, manques ou dommages
  • Aider la prsentation des produits et au rapprovisionnement des stocks sur le plancher de vente
  • Assurer que les caisses soient bien approvisionnes en fournitures oprationnelles

Ce que nous aimerions voir :

  • Doit avoir ou tre en train dobtenir un diplme dtudes secondaires ou un GED
  • Capacit effectuer des fonctions mathmatiques de base, telles que laddition, la soustraction, la multiplication et la division
  • Capacit communiquer efficacement en anglais, tant l'oral qu lcrit
  • Exigences physiques : capacit se tordre, se pencher, saccroupir, atteindre, grimper une chelle et rester debout pendant des priodes prolonges
  • Capacit accomplir plusieurs tches dans un environnement rapide
  • Capacit travailler efficacement en quipe et offrir un excellent service la clientle
  • Une plusieurs annes dexprience en service la clientle et/ou en vente au dtail est un atout

Disponibilit :

Exigences minimales de disponibilit par semaine :

  • Un minimum de 20 heures par semaine, incluant les lments suivants :
    • Disponibilit pendant les heures de pointe (les heures de pointe peuvent varier selon l'emplacement de chaque magasin)
    • Disponibilit le week-end
    • 1 quart de fin de semaine de fermeture
    • Disponibilit pour 1 quart de fermeture durant la semaine (du lundi au jeudi)
    • Disponibilit pour la majorit des priodes de Blackout , incluant mais sans sy limiter :
      • La semaine de relche (March Break)
      • Le week-end de la fte du Canada
      • La rentre scolaire ( partir des 2 semaines prcdant, et 1 semaine aprs la fte du Travail)
      • Le Vendredi Fou (Black Friday) (du samedi prcdant le Black Friday jusquau lundi suivant)
      • La priode des Ftes dhiver (du 15 dcembre au 2 janvier)
