Summary:
An Atlanta-based Cloud Governance team is seeking a Software/DevOps Engineer to build automated cloud policy enforcement and governance solutions across multi-cloud environments. This role focuses on policy-as-code development, infrastructure automation, and cloud security, working in a highly collaborative and agile environment.

Position Info:

  • Title: Software DevOps Engineer

  • Client: Nike

  • Duration: 18 month (possible extensions)

  • Location: Atlanta, GA

  • Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Automate cloud governance processes and deliver policy-as-code across AWS, Azure, GCP, and China-based clouds

  • Develop APIs and integrate solutions to identify and report non-compliant cloud resources

  • Partner with engineering, architecture, and product teams to enhance cloud posture

  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product ideation

  • Support risk assessments and navigate policy exception processes

  • Contribute to the engineering community through forums and governance activities

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

  • Proficiency in Python or Golang (preferred) and other scripting languages

  • Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., CircleCI, Jenkins)

  • Understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance, and policy-as-code

  • Knowledge of Agile development practices and tools like JIRA

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Preferred: experience with Cloud Custodian, OPA Rego, front-end development, SAFe, and AWS certifications
