Who you will work with:
You will work with cross functional teams from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Design, Tooling, Materials, Lab, and Nike Tier 1 suppliers.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Quality Excellence Engineer who will drive quality best practices including FMEA, Control Plans, and the Root Cause/Corrective Action process in addition to other quality practices to manage quality risk for Nike Air Products.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training.
  • A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience

Preferred
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills along with ability to tailor technical presentations to a wide variety of audiences is required.
  • Strong FMEA, Control Plan, RCCA, and MSA experience highly desired.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles and implementation are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO or IATF is preferred.
  • Experience with thermoforming and RF technologies are a plus.
  • Ability to support time on the manufacturing, up to 100%, depending on the needs of the business.

What you will work on:
You will apply knowledge of quality systems and data analysis to understand process capabilities and limitations and drive business decisions and quality management system improvements. You will focus on quality initiatives to make improvements regarding CoPQ, scrap, and product claims. In addition, you will lead product quality related investigations with cross-functional teams to determine root cause, necessary corrective actions and ensure effectiveness of corrective actions.
