Job description

Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance.

• 1 month gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Previous travel Med/Surg experience required. Telemetry experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: General and ortho post-op care preferred. Experience managing Heparin drips preferred. Blood administration preferred.

Special Requests: No travel pairs.

Unit Details: Ortho and general surgeries, back surgeries, GI issues, renal, oncology, and general medical patient population. Uses Alaris pumps, Kangaroo pumps, vein light, Pyxis, and Vocera communication devices.

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend (Saturday/Sunday). No call.

Floating Requirements: Float between the three Med/Surg units in Lafayette.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
