JOB TITLE: Day/Night Street Sweeper (CDL-B) โ€“ Full-Time

LOCATION: 10958 Guilford Rd, Annapolis Junction MD 20701

HOURS: 1st Shift or 3rd Shift

COMPENSATION: $22-$24/ Hour

TRAVEL: Minimal (1-10%)

In this role,ย youโ€™llย take ownership of assigned routes,ย drive the street sweeper,ย andย operateย specializedย equipment toย keep streets cleanย and well-maintained.ย

  • Route Execution: Review routes in advance, ask clarifying questions as needed, and complete assigned work on time with attention to quality.
  • Safety & Inspections: Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is safe and operational before starting work.
  • Equipment & Material Handling: Operate equipment safely and efficiently, follow traffic laws and site protocols, and handle materials according to disposal and safety procedures.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.
  • Professional Communication: Represent the Company professionally and communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.
  • Adaptability & Reliability: Respond effectively to changing conditions, solve problems as they arise, and maintain regular, predictable attendance.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Education: High School or GED
  • Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience โ€“ waste & recycling services experience preferred
  • License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
