Job description

Plant Electrician – Night Shift (6PM–6AM)

Location: Bethel, PA
Department: Maintenance
Classification: Hourly
Reports To: Shift Supervisor

We're hiring a skilled Plant Electrician to support our production operations during night shift. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems across the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable equipment performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and PLCbased systems
  • Support Pregis packaging lines, networks, and connected hardware
  • Use testing equipment, wiring diagrams, and software tools (Siemens, AllenBradley, IndraWorks, Exor)
  • Install and maintain electrical wiring and equipment to NEC and company standards
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
  • Escalate complex issues to technical support when needed
  • Assist with equipment installation and commissioning
  • Maintain accurate documentation, service reports, and training records
  • Follow all safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures
  • Maintain parts inventory when required
  • Work overtime or weekends as business needs demand

What You Bring

  • Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, electronic, PLC, industrial machinery)
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical prints
