Izzio Artisan Bakery is a the #1 selling sourdough bread in America. Our bakery is focused on providing our customers with great breads created using traditional methods and the best possible ingredients. Our people are a major part of our process and success.


We are looking to hire a CDL Driver for Izzio who will be responsible for completing daily delivery routes in a safe and timely manner, with a strong focus on safety and productivity. This role requires full compliance with all federal, state, and local road regulations, including all DOT operating and record-keeping procedures. Duties may include, but are not limited to, breaking down product, shelf stacking, offloading using electric pallet jacks, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and collecting all required delivery documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily delivery routes safely and on time, with a strong focus on safety and productivity
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations, including DOT operating and record-keeping requirements
  • Break down product and perform shelf stacking as required
  • Offload products using electric pallet jacks
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
  • Collect and maintain all required delivery and transportation documentation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor


Requirements

  • Class "A" CDL License in good standing
  • Ability to work in the United States
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • A minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pound repeatedly
  • Ability to operate MHE equipment
  • Experience delivering into food/consumer goods with shelf life
  • Liftgate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful

Position Requirements

  • Basic experienced with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Maintain regular, consistent attendance & punctuality. Must have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions - A reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Physical Requirements

  • Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
  • Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 50 pounds frequently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
  • Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
  • Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle.
  • Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.

Location: On the road

Compensation Range: $33.00 to $40.00 per hour

Shift: 6pm to 6am (weekend availability required)
