Manual Machinist - Night Shift 20% Differential PayAerospace & Defense ManufacturingLocation: 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040Shift: Night shift - 20% Differential PayDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.Key Responsibilities:โ€ข Setup and operate manual equipment (mills, lathes, surface and cylindrical grinders, drill presses) to machine metallic or composite parts to aerospace tolerancesโ€ข Interpret assembly drawings, GD&D specifications and blueprints, design, fabricate, and set customer fixtures and toolingโ€ข Perform precise inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs, or optical comparators, ensuring part complianceโ€ข Collaborate with engineering to refine machining methods, offer feedback on manufacturability, update control dataโ€ข Adhere to ISO AS9100 standards, ITAR protocols, PPE use, and logout/tagoutโ€ข Maintain clean and organized work areas; ensure proper use and care of equipment and toolsโ€ข Support continuous improvement activities related to machining processes and workflowOther Requirements:Minimum High School Diploma or trade schoolMust be at least 18 years old and Authorized to work in the USMust be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.Must be able to stand majority of the shiftStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to perform repetitive tasksDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.Team oriented company with top paying wages and benefits in the valley in regards to the Aerospace Industry.
